Getting about 16-17 mpg mixed driving on my 2022 TRD Off-Road. Stock tires, no lift, mostly city with some highway. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

For reference I'm running 87 octane and have about 35k miles on the odometer. Oil changes every 5k with Mobil 1 synthetic.

That's dead on normal for the 3.5 V6 with the automatic. I track my mileage obsessively — I average 17.2 mpg mixed, 20.1 highway. Once you lift and add bigger tires, expect to lose 1-2 mpg.

Check your tire pressure — low tires can really kill your mileage. I run 34 psi all around and consistently hit 18 in mixed driving on my '21 Sport.

Regeared to 4.88 with 33s and I'm sitting at 15 mpg. Worth it for the power though. If fuel economy matters, stay stock.
