You retain ownership of the content you post on Tacoma Planet (forum posts, build threads, marketplace listings, photos, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content in connection with operating the Service.

Content Standards

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy
  • Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
  • Infringes on any patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights
  • Contains viruses, malware, or any harmful code
  • Is spam, commercial solicitation, or unsolicited advertising
  • Impersonates another person or entity
  • Promotes illegal activities or violence
  • Contains personal information of others without their consent
Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review, edit, or remove any content at our sole discretion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

5. Marketplace

Tacoma Planet provides a marketplace for users to list items for sale. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, nor the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay. All transactions are at your own risk.

  • Sellers are responsible for accurately describing their items and fulfilling orders.
  • Buyers are responsible for verifying items before completing transactions.
  • Tacoma Planet is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers.
  • Listing fees, boost fees, and sponsorship payments processed through PayPal are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Sponsorship

Businesses may apply to become sponsors on Tacoma Planet. Sponsorship terms, fees, and benefits are as described on the sponsorship application page. We reserve the right to approve or deny any sponsorship application at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The Tacoma Planet name, logo, website design, and original content are owned by Tacoma Planet and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without express written permission.

Toyota, Tacoma, TRD, and related marks are trademarks of Toyota Motor Corporation. Tacoma Planet is an independent community and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Toyota Motor Corporation.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including Google (for sign-in, analytics, and advertising), PayPal (for payments), and others. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and sponsored content from our partners. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring their ads comply with applicable laws.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Vehicle modification advice, technical information, and other content posted by users is not professional advice; always consult qualified professionals before modifying your vehicle.
